Yves von Ballmoos is a C-Level Manager and Business Consultant, former Amateur-Jockey, Skikjöring driver and Show jumper. He is married to Mariann, proud father of Andri (2005) and Gian (2008).
From 2002 untill 2014 he was CEO, Chairman & owner of Zingg-Lamprecht Ldt, the leading design furniture company in Switzerland with stores in Zurich, Bern, Brüttisellen and Erlenbach. Yves sold his company 2014 to an investment company and focussed then on his new role as Business Angel, Lecturer and Mentor. From 2017 – 2019 Yves was as Head Range-Manager within the Migros Groupe responsible for the assortments and innovation of Interio & Micasa. Since August 2019 he is now consultant for the furniture industry, focussing on the topics sales & distribution, product- and assortment development, sustainability and digitalization. Yves has a doctoral degree (Doctor of Business Administration) of the Middlesex University in London for his disertation “Integral conception to solve the retail space trap in Swiss furniture trade”.
Yves was President of the Swiss Gentlemen-Riders Association from 1999 until 2006. He is member of the board of various sport associations and companies.
